Finally, Finally, Finally!

After a month of dithering, the car is ready.

Repaired, and we can pick it up this morning.

It means leaving the house to be there for 7am so Sweetie can get to work on time.

While i know the man whose father owns this dealership and who now runs it is a nice guy who tries hard to do a good job, this has totally turned me off from using this place again for anything.

The best part will be not having to arrange rides and car sharing.

Now to try to clean out Sweetie's car that #1 Son has been using. While Sweetie's suggestion of fumigation is a bit strong -- #1 Son is a messy college guy, and the car shows it -- i will give in to a quick car wash and a bit of upholstery cleaning where the soda got spilled.

  1. Is there a patron saint for cars? (Hopefully not St. Jude, the patron saint of lost causes.) Will keep fingers crossed that the car now straightens up and behaves itself.
